Jeff Yamada
Head Coach
Jeff is a highly decorated coach and former professional player from São Paulo, Brazil. He has won numerous titles including São Paulo State Champion in Singles, Brazilian National Champion, and Latin American Champion. Jeff has traveled to over 15 countries for training and tournaments, competing in places such as China, Japan, Korea, and Germany. He also competed in the World Junior Championship and played in a professional league in France, representing Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf.
After relocating to the United States on a table tennis scholarship from Lindenwood University, Jeff competed in the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) Championship, where his team finished among the top 5 universities in North America. As a coach, he trained Sid Naresh, Nandan Naresh, Senura Silva, Andrew Cao, and many other young players on the US National team. He is currently coaching Tokyo Paralympic Bronze medalist and world’s #4 Jenson Van Emburgh.
