Jeff Yamada
Head Coach
Jeff is a highly decorated coach and former professional player from São Paulo, Brazil. He has won numerous titles including State Champion, Brazilian National Champion, and Latin American Champion. Jeff has traveled to over 15 countries for training and tournaments, competing in places such as China, Japan, Korea, and Germany. He also competed in the World Junior Championship and played in a professional league in France, representing Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf.
As a coach, he trained Sid Naresh, Nandan Naresh, Senura Silva, Andrew Cao, and many other young players on the US National team. He is currently coaching Tokyo Paralympic Bronze medalist and world’s #4 Jenson Van Emburgh.

Jenson Van Emburgh
Assistant Coach
Jenson Van Emburgh is a highly accomplished American Para Table Tennis Player, currently ranked among the top four in the world. He gained international recognition by winning a bronze medal in the class 3 category at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, solidifying his status as a key figure in para sports. Jenson's career is marked by a series of impressive achievements, including a gold medal at the 2023 Parapan American Games and a silver at the 2022 World Championships. Known for his tactical skill and determination, Jenson has competed against some of the sport's best, notably earning a gold at the prestigious Slovenia Para Open in 2024.
